How to read the Operator Dashboard.
The Operator Dashboard is the daily command view for the farm. It helps operators see what is ready, what is running, what needs attention, and what should happen next.
Start with the snapshot
The top cards should answer the most important questions before anyone opens a detailed section.
Printers ready
Shows how many printers can take work right now. Printers in Maintenance or Offline should not be treated as ready.
Printing now
Shows active work so the operator can quickly understand shop load.
Attention items
Shows failed jobs, low material, due-soon work, or printers that should be checked.
Use the queue pipeline
The pipeline shows where each job sits in the production flow.
| Stage | Meaning | Operator action |
|---|---|---|
| Staged | The job is ready to run but has not started. | Confirm printer, file, material, and quantity. |
| Printing | The job is on a printer. | Monitor progress and keep notes current. |
| Cooling | The print is finished but waiting before removal or handling. | Let the part settle, then move it forward. |
| QC | The job needs quality check. | Inspect the part before packing or closing. |
| Packed | The part or batch is ready for the next handoff. | Close the job when finished. |
Read printer lanes
Printer lanes help operators think by machine instead of hunting through separate records.
- Status: Ready, Printing, Maintenance, or Offline.
- Queue load: how much work is waiting for that printer.
- Next job: the job that should be checked or started next.
- Quick actions: shortcuts to queue work or open the printer record.
Daily habit
Start each shift by checking attention items first. That keeps failed jobs, low material, and offline printers from silently slowing the farm down.
