How to print barcode and bin labels.
Labels make the shop faster when they are sized correctly, attached to the right record, and kept clean after printing.
Before printing
Choose the label size and confirm what each label represents before sending a batch to the printer.
- Select label size: choose the closest supported size before creating or printing labels.
- Confirm the record: make sure the label belongs to the correct part, inventory item, build sheet, production run, or location.
- Preview the batch: check spacing, text, and barcode fit before printing a large group.
- Print a sample: scan one sample label before printing a full batch.
Label print options
Use the option that matches the task.
| Option | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Print current label | Printing the label currently selected or created. |
| Print visible labels | Printing only the labels shown in the current batch. |
| Individual label print | Printing one label without sending the full batch. |
| Refresh label batch | Rebuilding labels from the current records after data changes. |
| Clear saved labels | Cleaning out labels that should not remain in the printable sheet. |
Best practice
Only keep labels that the shop actually needs to print. Old label batches can confuse operators if they stay visible after the work is finished.
