How to use inventory, restock, and labels.
Hexcore Flow helps track printed parts, purchased components, packaging, tools, replacement parts, labels, and scan-ready restock cards.
What to label
Use labels where a scan can save time or prevent mistakes.
Printed parts
Label bins, part drawers, and repeated product components.
Purchased items
Track heat inserts, magnets, screws, nuts, bolts, packaging, and other supplies.
Restock cards
Place cards near bins so low stock can be scanned into a restock request.
Scan-ready workflow
Use barcode labels to reduce typing during busy production work.
Create the inventory record
Add item name, category, location, current quantity, target quantity, and restock notes.
Print the label
Use a bin label, part label, inventory label, or restock card depending on how the item is used.
Use scanner actions
Scan the label to open the record, receive stock, use stock, or create a restock request.
Review low-stock items
Use the dashboard and inventory section to clear restock needs before production is blocked.
Label size tip
Choose the label size before printing a batch. Standardized label sizes make the shop easier to scan and easier to maintain.
